Announcing: Space Chase
Hello everyone,
I’m Tim Hely and I’m very excited to tell you about our new game: Space Chase!

Space Chase is a flash game developed by Ryan Malm and myself using the Flixel Engine, with music by Josh Whelchel and some artwork by Katie Tiedrich.
You play as an astronaut stranded on a derelict mining facility on some asteroid. Something has knocked out the power, and all the people are missing, but it isn’t long before you find out what caused the problem.

You must run through the facility, collecting batteries to shut down the security airlocks while fleeing from a massive alien beast intent on catching you. Your only defenses are your suit’s Saf-T Zap system, which can occasionally stun the monster, a short-distance teleporter, which uses a lot of power, and the deactivated turrets, blast doors, and SpaceCakes™ Vending Machines scattered throughout the station. Those can be activate with your collected batteries to distract the alien beast.

The game is broken down into sectors, and you must collect enough batteries in each sector to power down the exit doors. Each sector is generated completely randomly so it’s always a different map. The game features a map, achievements, and rare collectible items for you to find. It is also tied into MADSOFT Connect so you can share your achievements with other players.
We can’t wait to put the finishing touches on this and release it! We really hope you’ll enjoy playing the game just as much as we’ve enjoyed working on it :)
